New “Expense Analysis” Dashboard · New Domain Verification and Dynamic Hostname Allocation for Kubernetes · Session Idle Timeout
Product Features
- AWS and Azure Subnetworks via External API We have introduced subnetwork functionality for AWS and Azure through the emma External API, enabling users to optionally set a private IP when creating VMs. The IP is automatically provisioned on VM creation and removed upon termination, eliminating the need for separate IP management.
- New “Expense Analysis” Dashboard We have introduced a dedicated “Expense Analysis” dashboard to help users plan expenses and optimize costs. It provides both historical spending data and expense forecasts, highlighting the profitability of emma’s recommendations for more informed financial decisions.
- New Domain Verification and Dynamic Hostname Allocation for Kubernetes We introduced an application that verifies user domains within the Portal (currently supporting one domain from the UI) and automatically assigns FQDNs when a load balancer service is created in the cluster. If multiple ingress controllers are present, this application updates Cloudflared agent configurations so that each domain routes to the correct ingress controller, simplifying domain management and scaling.
- Session Idle Timeout We introduced an automatic session timeout that logs users out after a period of inactivity, enhancing security by reducing the risk of unauthorized access to idle sessions.
