Connect the Telegram bot
Link Telegram to your emma account so you can receive alerts and run commands from your phone.
Link Telegram and emma comes with you: alerts arrive as messages, and you can run commands — check what's running, ask about cost — without opening the console. This guide links the bot to your account.
Before you start you need an emma account. You'll link Telegram to it in the steps below; no bot setup of your own is required.
1. Open the Telegram bot
Find the emma bot in Telegram and start a chat with it. The console's integrations settings show the exact bot handle and a link to open it directly.
2. Link your account
emma needs to know which account the Telegram chat belongs to. Start the linking flow and follow the prompt.
/start to the bot.Only link a Telegram account you control. A linked chat can receive your alerts and run commands against your infrastructure (read commands run immediately; changes still require confirmation).
3. Use it
Once linked, you can:
- Receive alerts — route any alert to Telegram
- Run commands — ask about your infrastructure right in the chat
Try this (in Telegram) — What's running in my account?
What's next
- Set up alerts — send alerts to Telegram
- Connect the Slack app — the same, for Slack
- Safety & confirmations — how commands stay gated
