Optimize your cloud spend

Find waste and cheaper alternatives across your clouds by asking the copilot — then apply the savings with one confirmation.

emma can look across every cloud you've connected, point out what you're wasting money on, and suggest cheaper ways to run the same workloads. You review the savings and apply them with a single confirm.

Before you start you need at least one connected cloud provider with a few days of cost history so emma has something to analyze. Already set up? Skip to step 1.

1. Find the waste

Ask the copilot to scan for savings. It runs a waste analysis across your connected accounts and reports back in the chat.

Try thisWhere am I wasting money right now?

emma lists the culprits — idle VMs, oversized instances, unattached volumes, forgotten spot capacity — each with the monthly cost and why it flagged.

Ask a follow-up to narrow it down: Just the ones over $50/month or Only in my AWS account.

2. Compare cheaper options

Pick something from the list and ask emma to find a better deal. emma compares equivalent options across providers and regions.

Try thisShow me cheaper options for the web-prod VM

You'll get a short table of alternatives — a smaller size, a different region, or spot capacity — with the projected monthly saving for each.

Savings figures are estimates based on current provider pricing and your recent usage — treat them as a guide, not a guarantee.

3. Apply a recommendation

When you've chosen one, tell emma to make the change. As with any infrastructure change, you get a plan preview first.

Try thisResize web-prod to the option you recommended

Review the plan preview — the change, the impact, and the estimated new cost.
Click Confirm. emma applies the change and the diagram updates.

Changes always wait for your confirm — see Safety & confirmations.
